Chapter Championship... Practice Round on  May 23 & Final Round May 31....LOCKWOOD FOLLY.(SEE EVITE)

Attention Fellow Dixie Cuppers!!

Your help is needed!

Registrations are down for this year for the July 25, 2015 Tournament and we are in danger of not having enough participation to cover our contract for this event!  You ask "What does this mean?".  It means that we are on the hook for the cost of the unused rooms.  Now this may not have an impact on some of you, but I'm hoping the rest of you will have pity on us and help a DC Chairwoman out.  If you haven't already done so, please take a moment and REGISTER . If you've already registered, thank you, and please reach out to your fellow chapter members and encourage them to register.    Thank you!  We are looking forward to seeing all of you in July!

Volunteer of the Month:
as our Chapter VOM for Apri 2015
Lisa continually worked very hard in putting on our wonderful Recruitment Kick-off Event in March.
We had record attendance with 38 members & guests, signed up several new members, arranged for a great speaker, awesome food & drink, supervised a great volunteer ,  and overall "kicked event butt".   Keep Up The Good Work Lisa!

As a reminder, nominees for Volunteer of the Month will be accepted monthly from any member. Nominees must be submitted in writing (email is fine) outlining the volunteer’s extraordinary commitment to volunteering and support of the goals of the Chapter to Shirley Howell at: prior to the Boards monthly meeting. At the end of the year, all members are invited to vote for the Volunteer of the Year from the nine monthly winners.
